Corsi to Appear on "White Pride" Radio Program

I included this in a post from last night, but it bears repetition.

According to Media Matters, Jerome Corsi is scheduled to publicize his book, Obama Nation, on a white supremacist radio talk show.

He'll be sitting down with Tennessee broadcaster James Edwards on 17 August's edition of The Political Cesspool: "the South's Foremost Conservative Populist Radio Program." The program's blog includes interesting claims that the newly released film Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 promotes "white genocide." That is, Caucasian women having sex with men of other races. Women like Stanley Ann Dunham, then?

In his book, Corsi reminds us of stereotypes of interracial sex as he discusses the elder Obama's appeal to Dunham, and he argues that Obama's mother's relationships with "men of color are examples of 'her going native.'” Such phrases seem to coalesce with some of Edwards' views. In the past, Edwards has claimed that "[w]hites are in for the fight of their lives. America is becoming balkanized. We are being robbed of having a future in the very nation our ancestors carved from the wilderness." A bi-racial president is probably what Edwards and his ilk fear more than anything else, for the breaking of that boundary will confirm that there will be no return to some idealized, mythic "white American homeland."

I also think it's significant to note this thought from the SPLC, which says,
[Edwards is] doing more than anyone else in the white nationalist movement at this point to promote the views of neo-Nazis, Klan sympathizers, Holocaust deniers, academic racists and anti-Semites. Helped along by cable news television and the occasional sympathetic elected official, he's beginning to look a lot like the next David Duke — and he'd almost certainly consider that a compliment.
While Corsi, as a Conservative, would oppose any Democratic candidate, his interest in appearing with Edwards to discuss Barack Obama reveals more about the man and his motivations than than any textual expose ever could (and that's leaving aside his own history of hateful commentary).
